Calling all improvisers looking to get their longform reps in! In this workshop, experienced improviser and teacher Megan Detloff will guide you through as many scenes as you can squeeze into two hours, sidecoaching all along the way. If you want to do LOTS of improv and get feedback in the moment on how you can guide your scene work, this workshop is for you!
Megan has been performing long-form improv since 2013 and teaching since 2016. She got her start in NYC, where she studied at The PIT and Annoyance (NYC). Megan believes the most important part of good improv is listening — and treating your teammates like beautiful geniuses.
We are capping registration to 14 people. The workshop will take place on Sunday, March 8th from 1-3pm. This workshop is for improvisers who have taken 3+ improv classes.
StartingBlock can be a confusing place to locate! Give yourself extra time to find it. We will gather on the southeast side of the American Family Insurance building that houses StartingBlock. This is the entrance of the building that faces Vintage Brewing Company and has some modern art sculptures nearby. StartingBlock’s address is 821 E Washington Ave 2nd floor, Madison, WI, 53703.
