In this workshop, improvisor Linzi Graylow will take you through exercises based on The Groundlings style of improv, which emphasizes building memorable characters with a specific point of view and COMMITMENT COMMITMENT COMMITMENT. Did I mention commitment? We’ll work to expand your improvising tool box by practicing methods to create and maintain characters throughout a set. This workshop is meant for improvisers who have taken 3+ improv classes.

Linzi has been studying and performing improv since 2012. She is a member of the Sirens all-female group of misfits and can be seen performing on improv stages in and around the Madison area. After completing classes with Atlas Improv, she continued advanced study with Upright Citizen’s Brigade and The Groundlings in Los Angeles.
This workshop will take place on 2026-05-23 from 11am to 1:30pm at StartingBlock. $15 for the workshop.
